Downtown in the historical center of Lisbon, Rua da Prata 10-22 has often been the backdrop for tourist snapshots. The building is an eyecatcher indeed, with its beautiful decorations and medium-high architecture that was built to resist the times and the elements.
Like the rest of the area, it dates back to the period after 1755, when the Great Earthquake laid the whole neighborhood to waste. The Pombaline Cage Technique was the first example of earthquake-resistant construction. Today, many of these buildings are occupied by banks, insurances companies and public institutions.
With a lot of schools and universities nearby, easy parking and excellent public transport (metro or boat), an office here is perfect to keep the life-work balance in check. Prata has six floors, with the upper levels reserved for offices.
The building forms an entire bloc with Rua do Comércio, also part of the Krest portfolio.
