No other place in Ghent is more bustling with shoppers than the pedestrian street Langemunt. The street lies right in the heart of the medieval city, around the corner from the Counts’ Castle and the sunny Vrijdagmarkt square.

Retail in the environment is mixed: telecom, clothing and some Ghent classics like the mustard shop of Tierenteyn and the wool shop of Phildar. This building dates back to 1930 and has previously been used as two different shops (Langemunt 43-45).
