Welcome to the summer edition of the Krest newsletter! We’re excited to share our latest developments with you.
First, we are proud to announce the launch of our Algarve gem – Alvôr the Breeze – a 24-apartment project by the ocean in the picturesque city of Alvor. In addition, we have pre-launched our new project in Marvila – Formoso. In Oeiras, Greater Lisbon, we have been diligently working on the Arcoverde project, a 244-unit complex.
In Belgium, we have launched a new phase of Nivaxis office park, south of Brussels.
Krest has been actively engaged in various real estate networks. We were pleased to participate in this year’s MIPIM as well as GRI Portugal, and to sponsor the COPIP Conferência da Promoção Imobiliária. These events are crucial as they bring together private and public stakeholders to discuss the future of real estate, with a strong focus this year on addressing the housing crisis.
Since its inception, Krest has been committed to meeting local market needs, with 70% of our housing developments sold to Portuguese families. Projects like Jardim Miraflores and Horizon Ocean Gardens exemplify our dedication to the local community.
Today, more than ever, Krest aims to be part of the solution by creating more affordable housing in Portugal.
In the meantime, we continue our efforts to create new locations investing in Lisbon South Bank. The journey is still long, and we are excited to be part of it.
Wishing you all a relaxing and peaceful summer.
Claude Kandiyoti, Chief Servant Officer
Krest will begin construction this month on Alvôr The Breeze, a gated community by the sea with 24 exclusive flats overlooking the Alvor lagoon and the Atlantic Ocean. This oasis of tranquillity, with two buildings designed by Costa Lima Arquitetos, offers a unique location and includes a range of facilities such as private swimming pools, a gym, yoga room and reception/club house. It is also surrounded by magnificent, inspiring gardens that provide well-being and relaxation, just an 11-minute drive from the A22 motorway and Portimão. Given these arguments, demand has been good and there are still a few opportunities left.

The ‘Sea’ condominium, part of the Horizon Ocean Gardens project, located on the first line of the coast at Forte Novo beach, just a few kilometres from Vale do Lobo and Quinta do Lago, has entered the final phase of construction and the flats are expected to be delivered by the end of this year. There are 67 flats, spread over 3 floors, including 1, 2, 3 and 4 bedrooms, bathed in the natural light of the Algarve sun, almost all with sea views and minimalist architecture with the signature of Saraiva e Associados. The development is surrounded by 4,000 sqm of outdoor spaces, including swimming pools, a car park and relaxing gardens to make the residents’ well-being even more complete.
