In addition to this recognition, the K-Tower has also been bestowed with the coveted Excellence in Efficiency and Sustainability Award. This reward celebrates the building’s pioneering adoption of innovative sustainable solutions, which have earned it a BREEAM Excellent certification. Situated in the heart of Parque das Nações, Lisbon, the K-Tower stands as an architectural beacon, recently acquired by Real I.S. AG, a prominent real estate investment fund manager headquartered in Munich, Germany. This transaction marks a significant milestone in the global office market, underscoring a shift towards counter-cyclical trends.

At the award ceremony held in Sintra, Claude Kandiyoti, the “Chief Servant Officer” of KREST, expressed profound pride in this achievement, stating, “This distinction reaffirms our unwavering commitment to crafting innovative real estate ventures that resonate locally and internationally.” He further emphasized K-Tower’s symbolic representation of KREST’s ethos, blending sustainability with cutting-edge design to create spaces that seamlessly integrate with their surroundings.

Barbara Geidner-Buchelt, Head of Investment Management International at Real I.S. AG, lauded the K-Tower for its blend of innovation, architectural prowess, efficiency, and ecological sustainability, setting a new benchmark for office buildings not only in Portugal but globally.

Designed by architectural firms Saraiva + Associados and Metrourbe, the K-Tower boasts 14 floors of class A offices spanning 15,000m². Its avant-garde design features expansive outdoor gardens and a central square hosting a permanent installation by Swedish artist EKTA, fostering a dynamic environment for its occupants, including IWG’s Spaces and Critical Techworks.
