The premises date back to the period after 1755, when the Great Earthquake ravaged the entire city. The Pombaline Cage Technique was the first example of earthquake-resistant construction. Today, many of these buildings are occupied by banks, insurances companies and public institutions.
The Comércio building has 4 floors, of which the upper levels serve as offices. The adjoining Rua da Prata office is also part of the Krest portfolio.
